The Chapter is pleased to announce the Keynote Speakers for the upcoming Convention slated for Jan. 30 & 31 at Eastside Catholic High School.

Chuck Apel & Jen Larsen

Bios:

Chuck Apel served as head coach of the 2008 United States U-19 National Team that competed in Vancouver, BC two years ago. Under his guidance that team went undefeated in tournament play, claiming the gold medal by defeating Canada 19-12 in the Championship game. He has been involved with the men's U-19 program since its inception in 1988, serving as a selector for the team each year. Apel, an All-American defenseman at Rutgers, was an assistant coach for the 1999 U.S. U-19 team that won the world championship in Australia.
Coach Apel has served as the head coach at Bridgewater-Raritan High School in New Jersey since 1980 and has won more than 300 games in his career. He led the school to a state championship in 1998 and in 2001 was inducted into the US Lacrosse New Jersey Chapter and New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association (NJSCA) halls of fame.

Jen Larsen has served as the head coach of the University of Oregon since the programs inception.  UofO is the only Women's Div. 1 lacrosse program in the Northwest. More details on Jen will be posted soon.
