Each year, the Washington State Lacrosse Chapter provides grants to teams in the state of Washington. These grants are given on the basis of need and prioritized on the basis of new teams over existing teams; youth programs over HS programs; and programs in new areas over existing areas. All teams, however, are encouraged to submit grant requests. This year, the Chapter will be providing equipment grants only – no monetary grants.

$13,200 in Equipment Awarded to 23 Programs

The Washington State Chapter of US Lacrosse is proud to award equipment grants to twenty-three developing programs throughout our state.  A record $13,200 in equipment will be distributed in December and January.  Seven sets of goals and nets, 110 sticks, 63 goggles, 71 boy’s starter sets, 8 sets of goalie gear, 100 practice pennies and miscellaneous equipment will be distributed. This gear is donated to our Chapter through sponsorship of the State HS Lacrosse Championships held during May.
