The next class to be inducted to the Washington Lacrosse Hall of Fame will be in 2012. More information on the nomination procedure will be available during early 2012. During October of 2010, six new members were enshrined at a ceremony hosted at the Washington Athletic Club. Mercer Island High School assistant coach and youth program founder Mark Larson, youth lacrosse champion and coach Harry Ostrander of Edmonds, longtime high school officials Janet Lennon-Jones of Redmond, and Lorrie McKay of Seattle, Whitman College and Vashon Island High School program founder Charley Rosenberry of Vashon Island and Bainbridge High School coach and former Canadian National Team member Tami Tommila of Bainbridge Island were tapped for induction by the Washington State Chapter of US Lacrosse. The Guest speaker was Chris Hall, the head coach of the Washington Stealth NLL franchise team. |
