Call for Hall of Fame Nominations
US Lacrosse, Washington Community –
In the midst of canceled seasons, games and events due to COVID-19, the US Lacrosse, Washington Chapter remains committed to recognizing our outstanding former players, coaches, officials and members of the lacrosse community through the Washington chapter Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes the best of the best in the Washington lacrosse community.
We are excited to announce that we are accepting 2020 nominations! The five different categories to be considered for the Hall of Fame include player, coach, official, administrator and champion of the game. Criteria for each category is listed at the top of each application. Applications can be found here and can be submitted by anyone, but need to be approved and signed by the nominee.
To be eligible for consideration for the class of 2020, all fully completed and signed Hall of Fame nomination forms must be received by December 31, 2020. Completed nomination applications can be sent to: Washington Chapter of US Lacrosse at firstname.lastname@example.org. *Please note that nominations submitted prior to 2020 will need to be resubmitted for consideration using the official Hall of Fame nomination forms referenced above and found on our website.
In addition to the nomination process, we have revised our selection process. This new process is aimed at being transparent, inclusive and fair. To understand the process including the ballot committee and voting committees, you can find more information here.
